Finding your way around Teesdale 


The site can be navigated in a number of ways. Information can be found by following the links contained within each page. More information on how the site is laid out can be found below. The Home link in the left-hand of each page will take you back to the Home page from any point. If you cannot find what you want, try one of the following: 

A to Z 

Our A-Z of web site content is designed to make it easy for you to find information on our services or services in Teesdale which may be controlled by other authorities such as Durham County Council. Just select a letter to browse the related categories of services. The A-Z link is found on the left-hand of each page. 

Search 

All of the pages contain the facility to do a simple word search of content on our site. Simply put the text you are searching for in the text box which appears at the top left hand corner of each page, and then click on the Search button, which is on the right of the text box. To perform a more advanced search, click on the Search link that is found on the left-hand of each page. The advanced search allows you to perform a more complex search of all of our content choosing content such as key words. 

Council Services 

Details of the services provide by Teesdale District Council can be by searching under the relevant category, all categories are located on the left hand side task bar of each page. Under each category you will find information relating to each area as well as contact details for the appropriate section. 

Council Sections 

Under the category “Council, Government and Democracy” you will find a break down of the council structure with details of all the sections within the council and the services they provide. Also under each section are contact details and a relevant email address for any required correspondence.
