The Contaminated Land Strategy details the legal and technical approaches we will take to deal with contaminated land in County Durham. In particular, it sets out how we intend to work with members of the public and key partners on this issue, to protect public health and the environment, and to facilitate economic devleopment within the county.
Consultation
We have a specialist team of officers dedicated to the review, assessment and remediation of contaminated land. We are now seeking the views of residents to develop the Contaminated Land Strategy.
