Durham County Council and NHS County Durham have developed a Joint Commissioning Strategy for Learning Disabilities which establishes priorities for service development between 2009 and 2013.
The strategy has been developed in consultation with service users, carers, service providers, Social Care and Health professionals. It includes an action plan which will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
